Deucalion Aviation is pleased to announce the delivery of a Boeing B737-700 aircraft on lease to Lumiwings Airlines on 26 May 2021. The aircraft, with MSN30659, is owned by KDAC Aircraft Holding.  It was previously on lease to Transavia Airlines.

Lumiwings Airlines, founded in 2015 in Athens, Greece, is an ACMI specialist and now also operates as a scheduled airline. Its fleet comprises one other Boeing 737-300 aircraft. KDAC 2017-1 was the second largest public issuance in aircraft ABS in 2017, originally sponsored and serviced by DVB Bank SE, and now serviced by Deucalion.

Efthymios Zacharias, CEO of Lumiwings, said:

The delivery of this Boeing B737-700 aircraft enables us to pivot to next generation Boeing aircraft, as we continue to grow our fleet. Deucalion worked with us intensely and efficiently to complete our first transaction together.

Jon Skirrow, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, said:

We are pleased to have added Lumiwings as a new lessee to our business and wish them every success with the aircraft.  The fact that we were able to lease this Boeing B737-700 aircraft on the same day it returned from its previous lessee demonstrates our ability to provide an efficient and collaborative service, even in these challenging market conditions.

Deucalion is a global provider of aircraft asset management, financing and investment services. The company is owned by a joint venture formed by investment funds that are managed by EnTrust Global and SVPGlobal. It previously operated as DVB Aviation Asset Management.
