Delta Air Lines plans to take delivery of its first batch of CSeries in 4Q 2018, with entry into service in early 2019, according to CEO Ed Bastian.

The carrier has 75 CS100s on order with Bombardier.

Delta's expected 2018 investments of US$4.5 billion will be primarily for aircraft, including deliveries of B737-900ERs, A321-200s, A350-900s and CS100s, along with advance deposit payments for these and A321neos and A330-900neos, and also for aircraft modifications.
