Corsair identifies parties interested in acquiring the airline
Corsair reveals the two parties interested in acquiring a stake in the French carrier. The first is Intro Aviation of Germany, and the second is a Chinese investor, who is one of the shareholders in Loong Air. Both contenders looking to acquire a stake in the French carrier, which is owned by the TUI Group.
TUI is considering bids from both companies, however the investor in Loong Air is a foreign company, and would be capped at a 49.9% stake.
The shareholder change comes amid a possible fleet change, as Corsair is expected to retire its three B747s by 2020-2021. Replacement aircraft have not been identified.
