CommutAir welcomed John H. Francis as the Director of Systems Operations Control (SOC).

John joined CommutAir after a decade long tenure at ExpressJet in Atlanta. His immediate task will be to successfully manage the SOC as the company expands its network while adding Embraer ERJ145 jets and retiring Bombardier Dash-8 aircraft. His self-described medium-term goals are "to support my SOC team to find new and innovative ways to improve performance achieve its greatest potential, enabling CommutAir to operate at its highest level."

Joel Raymond, Chief Operating Officer at CommutAir, said, "It is imperative that we develop and grow all of our support organizations in tandem with the increase in aircraft and flying. In John, we have someone with big picture ideas and with the pragmatic framework of steps and processes that will make them achievable. I know I can rely on John to facilitate our growth."
