Chalair to set up a Limoges-Bellegarde base with four ATR42s
Chalair, the French airline, plans to set up a base at Limoges-Bellegarde airport, providing 20 jobs, with four new ATR42s to be based there by early 2019.
The aircraft are to be sourced from sister company, Lease Fly, based in Portugal. One has already been delivered.
The airline is also attempting to secure Public Service Obligations (PSO) from the government on flights from Limoges-Bellegarde to Paris and Lyon. The subsidized services are expected to begin in January 2019.
