Certified Aviation Services (CAS) is pleased to announce the initiative taken to invest in its mechanics by providing aircraft-specific courses to advance capabilities and improve safety and quality standards for current and future customers.
Back in April 2020, CAS received funds from the “Paycheck Protection Program” (PPP). These funds were used to train its technicians on over nine various fleet types such as: B737, B767, B777, B787, B747, A220, A330, A320 and A321. With much focus on CAS’s largest bases, it was able to grant over 30 certificates at the following stations: LAX, ORD, SEA, SFO, and LAS.
Cesar Moya, Director of Quality & Training, stated, “In these critical times, we thought it best to come up with a solution rather than down-size our staff. I am pleased we chose the alternative because, in the end, choosing to invest in the knowledge and skills of our aircraft technicians, we increase the safety and quality of our services to our customers.”
