Cabo Verde Airlines received this Friday, 10th of May, the " Praia de Santa Maria", the airline's first aircraft with a newly designed livery.
The 'Praia de Santa Maria' arrived from Boston to the Nelson Mandela airport last Friday night carrying 134 passengers on board.
“Praia de Santa Maria”, whose name was chosen by the passengers through a public poll on Facebook, has its name as a homage to one of the natural wonders of Cape Verde that is the well-known beach of Santa Maria in Sal island, current hub of the airline.
Decorated with blue and pastel colours, the new branding is a soft mixture of the beauty of natural elements and the rhythm of the Cape Verdian culture, with the colours of the houses found in the islands.
The colour palette of the interior and exterior image of the aircraft shows that change comes from within, in the search to better serve its customers and bring Cape Verde to the world and the world to Cape Verde.
