The new inventory consists of over 5,000 line items and 100,000 parts
BANGOR, Maine – C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, announced today that it has signed an agreement, conducted through Ernst & Young, to sell 737NG inventory owned by REX Airlines in Australia. The unfortunate circumstance of REX going into administration has resulted in their 737 fleet no longer flying and this inventory becoming available for sale. The inventory, containing a CFM56-7 engine, auxiliary power unit, landing gear, and other fast-moving parts, was purchased by REX to support its now grounded fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
“With our roots in Australia, we have a long-standing relationship with REX,” said Chris Kilgour, CEO of C&L Aviation Group. “So, C&L was the natural choice to assist in the disposal of these assets. With over 5,000 active 737NG aircraft flying worldwide, this inventory is in high demand.”
The inventory, consisting of over 100,000 individual parts, will be marketed through C&L’s worldwide sales team and available at C&L’s Bangor, Maine, warehouse in the coming weeks. Parts will be listed on ILS, PartsBase, and Aeroxchange for outright sale.
