Binter Canarias seeks permission to fly to the US in July 2018

Binter Canarias applied for a foreign air carrier permit and exemption from US regulators, permitting it to engage in the following:

A. Foreign scheduled and charter air transportation of persons, property and mail from any point or points behind any Member State(s) of the European Union, via any point or points in any Member State and via intermediate points, to any point or points in the United States and beyond;

B. Foreign scheduled and charter air transportation of persons, property and mail between any point or points in the United States and any point or points in any member of the European Common Aviation Area;

C. Foreign scheduled and charter cargo air transportation between any point or points in the United States and any other point or points;

D. Other charters pursuant to the prior approval requirements of 14 C.F.R. 212 of the Department’s regulations; and

E. Scheduled and charter transportation authorized by any additional route rights made available to European Union carriers in the future.

Binter Canarias will provide these services pursuant to a codeshare agreement with a duly authorized US or foreign air carrier, and has no objection to inclusion of such a limitation in its permit and exemption.

Binter Canarias intends to commence codeshare service to the United States on 01 July 2018, and requests prompt review and approval of its application.
