PETALING JAYA, 26 July 2022 – With the recently announced flights to Mumbai, Kochi and Bangalore receiving encouraging response, Batik Air is now expanding its network to the cities of Amritsar and Kolkata effective 9 September 2022 and 30 September 2022 respectively.

The first 4x weekly flight to Amritsar, OD271 will depart KLIA on 9 September 2022 at 6:15pm and arrive Amritsar at 9:40pm. The returning flight OD272 will depart Amritsar at 10:30pm and arrive KLIA at 6:50am. Our services to Amritsar operate every Monday; Wednesday; Friday and Sunday.

Our flight to Kolkata, OD281 will depart KLIA at 9:55pm and arrive at 11:20pm, with the first flight departing on 30 Sep 2022. Flight OD282 will return to KLIA at 12:10am and arrive KLIA at 6:45am. Frequency to Kolkata is 5X weekly departing KLIA every Monday; Wednesday; Thursday; Friday and Sunday.

Promotional fares for one-way on the new routes are as follows:

KUL – Amritsar starts from RM539 for Economy Class and RM1709 for Business Class;

KUL – Kolkata from RM409 for Economy Class and RM1059 for Business Class;

The fares are all inclusive of free baggage allowance – 20kg for Economy and 30kg for Business Class.
