Dusseldorf, 06 April 2018: AZUR air Germany took delivery of the first of two B737-900ERs to be based at Dusseldorf. The aircraft with the German registration D-AZUG has 215 seats with a 3-3 seat arrangement and is used on short- and medium-haul routes. Following training, the first passenger flight is expected in early May 2018.

"We are very pleased to be able to welcome the first of the two Boeing 737-900ER in Dusseldorf. In the coming days we will start training and look forward to using the new type of aircraft," said Cengiz Armutlu, Accountable Manager at AZUR air.
