Azorra Delivers Romania’s First Airbus A220-300 To Animawings
Azorra is today delivering the first of four Airbus A220-300s to AnimaWings, the Romania-based airline, marking the first A220 to operate from Romania.
Delivered from Azorra’s firm orderbook with Airbus, the aircraft arrived in Bucharest today after being assembled at the Airbus facility in Mirabel, Canada. The delivery will support AnimaWings as it begins incorporating next-generation aircraft into its fleet and opening new routes across Europe and the Middle East.

Born from a clean sheet design, the A220 was purpose built for efficiency and performance in the 100-150 seat market. The new technology aircraft offers passengers the widest economy seats in class, large panoramic windows and low noise levels, with a 50% lower noise footprint compared to previous generation aircraft.

As of today, Azorra has delivered three A220-300s from its firm orderbook with Airbus, to airline customers around the world.
