Azorra Delivers Romania’s First Airbus A220-300 To Animawings

Azorra is today delivering the first of ​four Airbus A220-300s to AnimaWings, the Romania-based airline, marking the first A220 to operate from Romania.

Delivered from Azorra’s firm​ order​book with Airbus, the aircraft arrived in ​Bucharest today after being assembled at ​the ​​Airbus​ ​​facility ​in Mirabel, Canada. The delivery will support AnimaWings as it begins incorporating next-generation aircraft into its fleet and opening new routes across Europe and the Middle East.

Born from a clean sheet design, the A220 was ​​purpose ​built for efficiency and performance in the 100-150 seat market. The new technology aircraft offers passengers the widest economy seats​ in class​, large panoramic windows and​ low noise levels, with a 50% lower noise footprint compared to previous generation aircraft.

As of today, Azorra has delivered three A220-300s from its firm orderbook with Airbus, to airline customers around the world.
