Fort Lauderdale, Florida, March 13, 2019 — Azorra Aviation LLC today announced that it has delivered one Embraer E190 aircraft to WDL Aviation. This marks the first of several E190 aircraft that Azorra will lease to WDL Aviation are part of a fleet update underway at this established ACMI and charter service provider based in Cologne, Germany. The E190 aircraft are replacing BAE146 models that will be retired in due course.
The Azorra Ejet delivery was well aligned with Embraer and their services team, where they possess an in depth knowledge of the aircraft type at their MRO Center of Excellence facility in Macon, GA USA.
Azorra Aviation continues to expand it’s role as small narrow-body aircraft lessor with a particular focus on E190 aircraft. In addition to its appointment as exclusive remarketing agent for the Azul E190/E195 fleet, Azorra has committed to acquire 5 E190 aircraft, four of which will be leased to WDL Aviation. Azorra believes that the modern technology E1 aircraft has superior passenger attributes and is a leader in its class when it comes to efficiency and performance.
