AWAS announced today that it has completed a lease agreement with Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) for a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The aircraft comes from AWAS’ existing fleet and is expected to deliver to the airline in Q1 2018.

AWAS is pleased to welcome UIA back as a customer. The addition of this Boeing NG aircraft will support the airline’s 2018 fleet strategy as it looks to expand operations in Europe and the Middle-East.

UIA currently operates 42 aircraft including 25 Boeing 737-800/900ER NG airplanes. UIA also operates medium-haul Еmbraer-190 and long-haul Boeing 767 airliners.
