Avion Express sets new records in mid-2018
The largest narrow-body ACMI operator in the world Avion Express keeps demonstrating strong growth. The fleet expansion in the first half of 2018 became the driving force of the increase in the production results of the company. During H1 2018 Avion Express fleet have flown almost 22,000 block hours, which accounts for a 17% year-to-year growth.
In late July Avion Express hit another milestone. The company’s fleet set its new production record of over 250 block hours flown per day. The recent day-to-day result is more than 25% higher than the previous milestone set last year.
Production growth reflects the overall growth of the company in 2018. Avion Express CEO Darius Kajokas comments, “We have expanded our fleet by more than 10% since last year’s summer season. While growing our fleet and at the same time growing as a company, we are keeping our dedication to deliver quality and reliable services to our clients”.
This summer Avion Express started operations for SunExpress in Antalya, Turkey. Avion Express also continues its partnership with Thomas Cook and its daughter company Condor – 12 Airbus A320 family aircraft leased from Avion Express are flying for these clients both in the UK and Germany.
Avion Express is the largest narrow-body ACMI operator in the world successfully working with clients in Europe, South America and Asia-Pacific region. During 2018 Avion Express is operating 18 Airbus A320 family aircraft.
