Avion Express Malta Ltd. has just announced that the airline successfully completed an IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and is now recognised as an official IOSA registered airline.
The IOSA programme was established by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and is now internationally recognised and accepted as an evaluation system, designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. The programme aims to improve airline operational safety, through the industry’s first globally accepted audit programme, and to improve airline efficiency by eliminating redundant audits.
"We are delighted and very proud of our new status. The official IOSA Operator status is a great step for Avion Express Malta and significant proof that the airline's operational and safety standards are fully in line with highest international requirements," said Darius Kajokas, Avion Express Malta CEO.
