Avion Express appoints new VP Finance and Administration, VP Flight Operations and VP Production

Avion Express is proud to announce that Stasys Viltrakis and Olegs Krisovatijs, who previously served as the Head of Flight Operations and OCC Manager respectively, have been appointed to the new positions of Vice President Flight Operations and Vice President Production. Vytenis Šuklys has joined the company as Vice President Finance and Administration.

Stasys Viltrakis
Stasys Viltrakis has been working at Avion Express for a long while. A pilot with 7500 hours of flight time, most recently he has been the Head of Flight Operations and has built up an impressive background in the company.

Olegs Krisovatijs
Having graduated from Latvian Maritime Academy as Marine Navigator and Riga Technical University where he obtained a degree in Logistics, Olegs has years of experience as Performance and Dispatch Manager in Smartlynx Airlines, where he was responsible for Operations Control Center and Performance Engineering. After Smartlynx Airlines Olegs moved to Primera Air. As Primera Air established the new AOC in Latvia, Olegs took the position of the Network Control Center (NCC) Manager there.

Working in wet-lease and full charter business environment, Olegs joined Avion Express as the OCC Manager almost three years ago. Over that time, he has proven himself as a hard-working and dedicated professional; thus, when the time to appoint a new Vice President Production came, it was a natural decision to offer this position to Olegs.

Vytenis Šuklys
Vytenis brings a wealth of experience and skills in the fields of finance and business administration that he has acquired during his truly international experience: from the UK to Latvia to Estonia to his native Lithuania, he was working in the field of finance, from finance controlling to CFO positions.

Regarding his new position at Avion Express, the new Vice President Finance and Administration said, “As the CFO of Scandagra Baltic operations for the last five years, I have experienced the Group to double the activity level in a short period of time, while delivering constantly improving financial results. I am proud to take up this position, and my previous experience in finance and business management will hopefully contribute to the further growth of Avion Express business”.

Avion Express is the largest airline in Lithuania and the largest narrow-body wet-lease operator in the world. During the season of 2017 Avion Express was operating 16 Airbus 319/320/321 aircraft.
