AviaAM Leasing, a WSE listed company, denied it nor any of its subsidiaries leased or sold airplanes to Ukrainian companies Khors Air and Dart Airlines, according Gediminas Ziemelis, chairman of Avia Solutions Group, parent of the Lithuanian aircraft lessor.

The two Ukrainian airlines were accused of supplying aircraft to aid in military operations in Syria. AviaAM was accused of being the lessor of the aircraft from October 2016 to February 2018, according to media reports which it adamantly denies.

"No AviaAM Leasing planes owned and/or controlled by the company, were either directly or indirectly, used for military purposes", Gediminas Ziemelis said when referring to the media reports.

Khors and Dart were both blacklisted by the US as a result of their participation in the export of Western aircraft to Syrian airlines.

AviaAM Leasing, nor any of its subsidiaries, also denied it entered into any commercial transactions with Air Alanna, a new company that took over the assets and liabilities of Dart.
