Aventure Acquires Boeing 757-200 Airframe for Part Out
Aventure Aviation has acquired its fourth 757-200 airframe in 2020, MSN 28112, for teardown and part out. The airframe is currently stored at eCube in Wales, UK.
The aircraft, last operated by Air Astana, is currently equipped with a half-life APU, 7+ years of green time remaining on landing gear, as well as RB211 nacelles that have had the FAA AD modification installed by the OEM back in 2017. It was recently removed out of service and has been subject to a maintenance storage plan ever since.
"Aventure continues to double down on the success of the cargo market, where the Boeing 757 is key to the world’s cargo lift. Over the last few years, we have established that Aventure is one of the world’s foremost providers of Boeing 757 aircraft part support. Few companies can match the experience or stock that Aventure has to support its customers.” said Aventure Vice President, Talha Faruqi
"We continue to see interesting opportunities to purchase aircraft part-out," Mr. Faruqi added. “This will not be our last purchase in 2020. As the commercial aviation industry continues to struggle, operators and leasing companies are searching for reputable companies that are willing to step-up and take on their surplus aircraft. Aventure has the financing and capabilities to purchase these assets.
Aventure is also presently considering the acquisition of several other Airbus, Boeing, Embraer and Bombardier aircraft, focusing on end-of-life aircraft for dismantling and conversion purposes.
