Arkia Israeli Airlines signs 12-year TrueChoice Flight Hour agreement with GE Aviation
Arkia Israeli Airlines signed a 12-year TrueChoiceTM Flight Hour agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its CF34-10E engines that power its three Embraer E190 aircraft. This deal is valued at more than $75 million (USD) over the life of the agreement.

With the highest thrust rating for the CF34 engine family at 20,000 pounds of thrust, the CF34-10E engines continues to perform well in the field, accumulating more than 26 million flight hours and 19 million cycles. The engine includes many advanced technologies, including a single-stage high-pressure turbine, advanced wide chord fan blades, advanced 3-D aero compressor and turbine airfoils, and a chevron exhaust nozzle. The CF34-10E engine powers the EMBRAER 190/195 aircraft as well as the Embraer Lineage 1000 business jet.
GE Aviation's CF34 engine, the best-selling engine in regional aviation history, has surpassed 7,000 total deliveries. With a dispatch reliability rate of 99.95 percent and more than 150 million flight hours and 120 million cycles, the CF34 engine epitomizes the reliability and durability necessary for high-cycle operation.
