APOC Aviation celebrates 5th anniversary and launches new facility in style

Rotterdam, February 27th  2020: APOC Aviation, the innovative leasing, trading and aircraft part-out specialist celebrated its 5th anniversary with a spectacular launch party at its new facility on the outskirts of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.  Aviation industry guests including MROs, airlines, parts repair shops (engines and airframe) and financial institutions flew in from Germany, France, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, USA, Colombia, Ireland, UK, Japan, Spain, Belgium, UAE and many other countries to join local customers from The Netherlands and experience the APOC welcome.

CEO, Max Wooldrik, used the opportunity to showcase APOC’s rapid growth trajectory. “Our different approach has delivered triple digit annual growth year on year and our exceptional quality control maintains a rejection rate of 0.7% which is well below the industry average. Last year we raised Euro 4m in just 15 minutes via crowd-funding – a technique that we have pioneered - and we launched our engines trading and leasing business.”

Wooldrik went on to thank APOC Aviation’s investors for their on-going commitment to provide the significant funding needed to fast-track growth. “This year, we’re expanding our lease portfolio of engines, landing gear and APUs. We’re also upgrading our existing customer portal with one-click AOG logistical solutions, opening parts stores around the globe – starting in Asia and the US – and a new sales office in Singapore will complete APOC’s global footprint.”

The Company is also further expanding its team of aviation professionals and establishing a new dedicated landing gear trading and leasing division to complement the engines’ specialism.

“We’re bringing in like-minded people that share our vision” Wooldrik added.  “As we enter this new decade the world of aviation is full of challenges and opportunities that we face together. And APOC is ready. We’ll keep exploring and pushing the boundaries so you can keep flying.”

Amidst a walking dinner menu of a dozen gourmet dishes, guests toasted the Company’s success with a range of cocktails and danced the night away.  Particularly impactful was APOC’s jet bar, a converted turboprop that was the centrepiece inside APOC’s transformed warehouse facility and ideal photo opportunity.  It will be seen again at APOC Aviation’s booths at Farnborough Airshow and MRO Europe in Barcelona this year.
