Ameco officially delivered the 12th Boeing 757-200 passenger-to-freighter aircraft in the last few days. This is also the 8th passenger-to-freighter aircraft completed by Ameco Chengdu Branch for SF Airlines.

In recent years, facing with the increasing demand of domestic cargo airlines, Ameco takes the opportunity of the promotion of integration, creating a star product of Boeing 757-200 conversion in domestic from the quality, cycle, production capacity and other aspects.

Ameco developed its passenger-to-freighter conversion on Boeing 757-200 in 2014 and completed its first conversion in May of that year. With the rapid development on cargo conversion over the past five years, Air China Cargo, SF Airlines, China Postal Airlines were added in Ameco’s conversion list.

According to the Boeing World Air Cargo Forecast 2018-2037, world air cargo traffic will grow 4.2 percent per year in the next 20 years, with domestic China, one of the fastest growing segments of the world air cargo market, expanding 6.3 percent annually. Facing with such a promising market, Ameco also plans to develop Airbus A321 passenger-to-freighter services in addition to Boeing 757 in the near future.

Ameco will make full use of resource integration to further expand maintenance in-depth and maintenance capabilities for cargo aircraft product, and provide a whole life and a full range of professional maintenance services for more customers.
