Amaszonas to acquire E190 and E195s for Brazil entry
Amaszonas plans to acquire E190 and E195s from Embraer, as the carrier aims to target the Brazilian market, specifically Rio de Janeiro, Foz do Iguacu, Curitiba, and Porto Alegre.
As part of the investment in Brazil, the airline plans to obtain approval for a regional unit in the country. Currently, Amaszonas has units based in Bolivia and Uruguay.
The expansion into Brazil already receiving the endorsement of ANAC.
No word yet on the delivery dates of the aircraft, or launch date of the new Brazilian unit.
