Amaszonas Bolivia sold all of its shares in its Paraguayan subsidiary in order to restructure the shareholding in the company. The shares were split evenly between existing shareholders Avmax (Canada) and Ilai (Spain).
The airline will be rebranded as part of the agreement, following a six month transition phase during which all flights will continue uninterrupted.
The Amaszonas Group will continue to operate in Paraguay through its existing airlines.
The Bolivian Group also plans to ratify its model of regional connectivity and projections in different markets in South America, including the certification soon of a national airline in Brazil.
