KLIA, 23 October 2019: Amal by Malaysia Airlines, the pilgrim-centric service of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) dedicated for Hajj and Umrah, on Monday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tahira Air Sdn Bhd and Kawan International Travel Sdn Bhd at TH Movenpick Hotel, Sepang.
The agreement was signed between Hazman Hilmi Sallahuddin, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AMAL, Vincent Tan Kee Kim, CEO of Tahira Air as well as Haji Mohd Zahiri Dato’ Hj Maulud, Chairman of Kawan International Travel Sdn. Bhd.
Through this partnership, the three parties expressed their intention to connect Muslim and leisure travelers from China to Saudi Arabia via Kuala Lumpur, following the recent announcement by the government of Saudi Arabia to offer tourist visas and visa-on-arrival services to more than 40 countries around the world, including China. AMAL, Tahira Air and Kawan International will be offering flights and tours to Jeddah and Madinah from Ningxia, as well as other provinces in China.
