TOKYO (September 26, 2018) — Alton Aviation Consultancy, a boutique aviation consulting firm, has further extended its global reach with the opening of a new office in the Shinagawa district of Tokyo. With its existing offices in New York, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Dublin, Alton now has a local presence in the world’s leading aviation and aerospace centres.

The Tokyo office will be led by the firm’s newly-appointed Director, Yuichi Takayama, who has significant experience providing advisory services to clients in the Japanese aviation sector. Mr. Takayama has successfully managed a wide range of aerospace projects with both commercial and public sector clients. Yuichi earned an Aerospace MBA at Toulouse Business School in France and spent time undertaking an executive internship at the headquarters of Airbus. Mr. Takayama began his advisory career at Deloitte Consulting.

The opening of the Tokyo office represents Alton’s commitment to provide its clients with highly responsive in-country service, and to take full advantage of the opportunities that exist across the spectrum of Japan’s thriving aviation sector. Alton’s strong client base in Japan includes aerospace manufacturers, MRO suppliers, aircraft leasing companies and aviation investors.
