Alton Aviation Consultancy opens Singapore office
SINGAPORE (July 1, 2019) — Alton Aviation Consultancy, a specialized aviation consulting firm, has further extended its global reach with the opening of a new office in Singapore. With its existing offices in New York, Dublin, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Beijing, Alton now has a local presence in one of the world’s leading aviation and aerospace centers of excellence.
The Singapore office will be led by the firm’s newly appointed Director, Joshua Ng who has significant experience providing advisory services to clients in the airline, aerospace, MRO, and aviation supply chain management sectors. Mr. Ng has successfully managed a wide range of aviation projects with both commercial and public sector clients. In addition to his consulting experience, Joshua gained valuable practical industry expertise working for ST Aerospace in Singapore where he was responsible for managing key customer accounts, MRO operations and business development. Joshua holds a Masters degree in Logistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
The opening of the Singapore office represents Alton’s commitment to provide its clients with highly responsive in-country service, and to take full advantage of the opportunities that exist across the spectrum of South East Asia’s thriving aviation sector. Alton’s strong client base includes aerospace manufacturers, MRO suppliers, aircraft leasing companies and aviation investors.
Speaking of his new appointment and the new office, Mr. Ng commented:
“I am very pleased to have this opportunity to launch Alton Aviation Consultancy’s new office in Singapore and I’m looking forward to building a strong local team. There is excellent growth potential for Alton in the Asia-Pacific region as the only consultancy that is genuinely independent, can offer truly global coverage, and has the deep domain expertise that spans the aviation industry’s entire value chain.”
Adam Cowburn, Managing Director of Alton Aviation Consultancy, added:
“We’re delighted that Joshua has joined us. He has exactly the skills, experience, and regional knowledge to continue to build upon the success we have enjoyed to date in Asia. Our four offices in Asia complement each other and provide our clients with deep domain expertise across the aviation industry’s entire value chain, as well as an in-region presence to support client projects. This aviation capability set is unique to Alton Aviation Consultancy and we hope to become the first choice for aviation clients to turn to when they need expert advice.”
