AJW Group has announced the promotion of Tom De Geytere to Chief Sales Officer to support its fast-growing business.

De Geytere will expand his role to oversee the development of AJW Group’s Part Sales & Support and Engines divisions, drawing on his extensive industry experience. He will also lead business development in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States to ensure AJW Group continues to be the partner of choice for airlines in these regions.

De Geytere joined AJW Group in May 2016 as Managing Director of its Singapore operation. He was responsible for developing and growing the organisation’s regional presence from a responsive sales unit into a skilled business operation and one that is well known in Asia for helping airlines drive efficiencies and reduce costs through effective supply chain and asset management.

De Geytere has held executive positions in Asian and European airlines and has experience in business development for start-ups and legacy carriers. Prior to joining AJW Group, he was CEO of Air Via for over four years.

Christopher Whiteside, President and CEO of AJW Group, said:

“Tom’s extensive experience suits the creative and diverse business models of airlines. Since joining AJW, he has developed strong relationships with our customers in the Asia region. We are experiencing high demand in these growth markets so it was a natural decision for us to deploy Tom’s skill set across the company so that it benefits our customers more widely.”

Tom De Geytere, Chief Sales Officer of AJW Group, said:

“I am delighted to take on this role and build on the strong network that AJW Group has created over the last few years. Understanding the commercial needs and developing supply chain solutions is at the heart of what we do, and I am looking forward to playing an integral part in delivering that for our current and prospective customers in the months ahead.”
