Starting from 1 October, Air Serbia will introduce additional flights to Zurich, so on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday it will be operating three flights a day on this route. The national airline, which currently operates two flights a day to Switzerland’s biggest city, will be operating 19 flights a week during October.
“We are glad that we have kept the position of the leading airline for the Serbia-Switzerland route, and we are making the highest number of flights between these two countries available to our passengers, while at the same time maintaining excellent connectivity with the whole region from our Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport hub,” said Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.
Zurich is one of the four European destinations to which Air Serbia flights were recommenced first, after the temporary suspension of air traffic due to the coronavirus pandemic. Since the beginning of the gradual recommencement of flights on 21 May, Zurich was, along with New York, one of Air Serbia’s best-performing destinations.
