As of 4 July, Air Serbia will recommence Belgrade-Barcelona flights, thus reconnecting Serbia and Spain, for the first time after a one year hiatus. The plan is to operate the flights to the popular city in the Mediterranean twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The tickets are already available for purchase.

Serbia’s national airline first launched Barcelona flights in June 2019, continuing the tradition established by its predecessor JAT, which operated flights to the famous Spanish tourist destination until 1998.

“We are happy to be renewing the direct air link with Barcelona, a destination that is extremely popular among our passengers, both in terms of business and leisure travel. We remain focused on every opportunity that presents itself on the market, in order to be able to continue making good results and to be able to offer our passengers the biggest possible selection of destinations during the vacation season”, said Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia.

The flight schedule on this route was created to offer seamless connections to numerous cities in Air Serbia network, such as Athens, Bucharest, Istanbul, Larnaca, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje, Thessaloniki, Tirana and Tivat.

More information about the activities of the Serbian national airline can be found on the Air Serbia Media Centre web page.
