Air Serbia’s good results in 2019 continue even after a record-breaking October, with rising passenger numbers in November, too. After the first 20 days of this month, the Serb flag carrier has already surpassed last year’s November results and is expecting to exceed the number of passengers carried in 2018 by the end of the month.

With a 25% rise in passenger numbers in relation to November 2018, Air Serbia’s routes also offer a 9% increase in passenger capacity compared to the same month last year. The airline has thus achieved outstanding results in an industry characterized by strong and sharp competition.

„We are happy with our results but even more with the passengers’ positive response to our offer. We are monitoring the market and ensure our passengers always receive good service for favourable rates. Along with the new destinations launched this summer, we have new surprises in store, which I am sure will be a step in the right direction and will generate even greater growth for Air Serbia“, said Jiri Marek, GM Commercial and Strategy.

By introducing as many as nine new direct flights from Belgrade and 12 from Niš, the national air carrier has undergone the strongest expansion since the start of its operation under the Air Serbia name.
