With the JU 2524 flight, Air Serbia commenced direct flights on the new Kraljevo-Thessaloniki route. Seasonal flights on this route will be operated once a week, every Tuesday, in the period between 13 July and 24 August.
On that occasion, an official ceremony was held at the Morava Airport, in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia, Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services (SMATSA), heads of Moravica and Raška districts, representatives of the cities of Čačak, Kraljevo and Kragujevac, as well as representatives of Air Serbia and Airports of Serbia.
“We are glad that we have expanded our offer even on our third airport in the country. We are particularly glad that we will make it easier for passengers from the West Serbia and Šumadija regions to travel to one of their favourite destinations in Greece during vacation season,” said Boško Rupić, Head of Sales at Air Serbia.
Air Serbia will be operating flights to the second biggest city in Greece using the ATR72 turboprop.
More information about the activities of the Serbian national airline can be found on the Air Serbia Media Centre web page.
