Air Sénégal began operations
Air Sénégal began operations on 14 May 2018, with first commercial flight between Dakar and Ziguinchor with its ATR-72-600, two weeks after obtaining its AOC.
The carrier, led by Philippe Bohn, plans to expand to Banjul, Bissau, and Nouakchott Praia as it ramps up its fleet, which will include two leased A319s by July 2018, and eventually two A330neos which are on order with Airbus.
Air Sénégal also began talks with Air Côte d'Ivoire for a commercial partnership and the possible lease of one A319.
