The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) of Brazil has received a request from Spain's Air Nostrum to launch domestic operations within Brazil. Once authorized, the company must adopt another name and operate on regional routes from the 2H of 2020.

The approval of up to 100% foreign capital in companies operating domestic flights was allowed from 2019, as the new law removes limits on foreign investment in airlines that want to operate in the country.

No word yet on the fleet or branding of the subsidiary airline.
