Air Lease Corporation Announces Pricing of Public Offering of $1.4 Billion of Senior Unsecured Medium-Term Notes

LOS ANGELES, California, January 8, 2020 — Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL) (the “Company”) announced the pricing on January 7, 2020 of its public offering of $750.0 million aggregate principal amount of 2.30% senior unsecured medium-term notes due February 1, 2025 (the “2025 Notes”) and $650.0 million aggregate principal amount of 3.00% senior unsecured medium-term notes due February 1, 2030 (the “2030 Notes” and, together with the 2025 Notes, the “Notes”). The sale of the Notes is expected to close on January 14, 2020, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The 2025 Notes will mature on February 1, 2025 and will bear interest at a rate of 2.30% per annum, payable semi-annually in arrears on February 1 and August 1 of each year, commencing on August 1, 2020. The 2030 Notes will mature on February 1, 2030 and will bear interest at a rate of 3.00% per annum, payable semi-annually in arrears on February 1 and August 1 of each year, commencing on August 1, 2020.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, the purchase of commercial aircraft and the repayment of existing indebtedness.
