Olbia, December 17th 2018 – Air Italy is delighted to announce it will launch direct flights to the Canadian city of Toronto on May 6th 2019, becoming the airline’s eighth new international destination served from its Milan Malpensa hub.

The new service will be Air Italy’s first route to Canada and will be operated four times weekly (Mo, We, Fr, Su) between Milan Malpensa and Toronto, the Capital city of the Province of Ontario.

Served with Air Italy’s Airbus A330-200, offering 24 flatbed seats in Business Class and 228 seats in Economy Class, the new route is the third new service planned for 2019 after the announcement of new flights from Milan Malpensa to Los Angeles and San Francisco on April 3 and April 11 respectively.

Air Italy connects with eight Italian cities (Rome, Naples, Palermo, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Olbia and Cagliari) from its Milan Malpensa hub, four cities in the USA (New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco), two in India (Delhi and Mumbai), Toronto in Canada and Bangkok in Thailand.

All Air Italy’s new services between Milan Malpensa and Canada, the United States [or the USA], Thailand and India are being operated with Air Italy’s new long-haul Airbus A330-200, which offers up to 24 seats in the exclusive Business Class cabin making it possible to fly with maximum comfort in fully lie-flat seats with signature Italian cuisine accompanied by a selection of champagnes and Italian fine wines, Wi-Fi service, an extensive inflight entertainment service and the personalised attention from its on-board staff.

The Economy Class cabin with 228 seats also provides Air Italy’s guests with highly personalised service, Wi-Fi and a wide selection of entertainment.
On the new domestic flights from Malpensa, Air Italy offers in Business Class a welcome drink service, breakfast or snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and in Economy Class a snack with a choice of coffee, tea, soft drinks and fruit juices, all served by its highly attentive crew.
