After a two-year break - the French airline Air Austral entrusts the Warsaw technical base for the second time with one of the most modern aircraft in the world, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

Work on the F-OLRC aircraft began on November 12. The most labor-intensive (over half of the commissioned man-hours) was the structural modification of the windows in the crew cabin, for which all the windows in the cockpit had to be removed. This operation is very delicate, requiring attention and precision. In addition, the French carrier also commissioned LOTAMS with smaller maintenance activities, such as modification of cabinets in toilets, modification on the landing gear (related to brakes), control systems lubrication and reading from aircraft recorders. In total, the work on the plane lasted 6 days.

The Polish-French cooperation started in September 2018. LOTAMS then disassembled and assembled Rolls-Royce engines for scheduled check. In addition, during the engine repair performed by the manufacturer, LOTAMS carried out maintenance on the aircraft. It was the first order to perform technical maintenance on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner by a foreign carrier.
