Air Astana plans to add more E-Jets E2 and A320neos
Kazakhstan's national airline, Air Astana, plans to increase its order for E-Jet E2 to 15 aircraft, according to the president Peter Foster. If successfully negotiated, the additional aircraft will be delivered in 2020-21.
Air Astana currently has five E2s on order delivering from November 2018 through to 1H 2020. The E2s will replace the existing E190s, as leases expire in 2019.
The airline is also considering the addition of six more A320neo family aircraft on top of its 17 on order. Air Astana currently operates three A320neo family aircraft, with 14 more due by end of 2019.
