Aerotask has successfully closed the acquisition of a second Airbus A340-300 MSN 387 on behalf of Kam Air, bringing the airline’s A340 fleet to a total of three units. The aircraft was formerly operated by Philippine Airlines and will be deployed across the airline’s medium-haul international route network.

With the addition of a third widebody aircraft in their fleet, Kam Air is now poised to adequately serve the over 30,000 Afghans that are expected to perform the Hajj pilgrimage in 2018. The successful completion of this transaction signifies the continuously developing and ever-strengthening relationship between Kam Air and Aerotask.

Aerotask is a Dubai-based global aviation consultancy providing Asset Management and Financial Solutions to airlines, lessors, financiers and aviation investors worldwide.

Kam Air is a privately-owned Afghani airline providing domestic and international services out of Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. The airline operates a fleet of ten aircraft serving fifteen destinations across Afghanistan and abroad.
