4 February 2022, Moscow. — Aeroflot took delivery of two long-range Boeing 777 aircraft with retrofitted cabin. Due to improved cabin configuration the aircraft accommodates 427 passengers while providing superior flight experience for passengers travelling in all classes of service. The retrofitted Boeing 777 airliners are configured as follows:
· 28 Super Diamond NG seats in Business class;
· 24 seats in Comfort class;
· 375 seats in Economy class.
The seat pitch in Economy class averages 80 cm, in Comfort class – 96 cm. Business class passengers can enjoy individual suites providing high level of privacy. Sliding doors and an extra armrest turn a seat in a private suite fitted with an 18.5-inch HD monitor and 2-metre full-flat bed.
Passengers travelling in all classes of service can enjoy the latest generation Panasonic Ex3 multimedia in-flight entertainment system. In January 2022, Aeroflot enhanced the in-flight entertainment concept. At least 60 Russian and international film premieres and 40 new movie releases with an IMDb rating of 6 and up are uploaded to the IFE monthly. Passengers can choose from over 5000 items of video, audio, entertainment and game content. High-speed Internet access (up to 30 Мb/sec)* is available on board.
The Boeing 777s with retrofitted cabin currently operate on routes to Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In future, the airliners will be utilized for flights to the most popular international and domestic destinations.
Aeroflot’s fleet is one of the youngest of any airline worldwide. As of late January 2022, Aeroflot operated 186 aircraft, including 22 Boeing 777-300ER long-haul aircraft.
