Aeroflot Expands Fleet with Four New Airbus A320 family aircraft
Aeroflot has taken delivery of four new Airbus A320 family aircraft, including three A320 airliners and an A321 aircraft. All planes are equipped with aerodynamic wing-tips known as Sharklets.
The VP-BIY A320 aircraft is named in honour of Valery Bryusov, a prominent poet, essayist, and editor, one of the founders of Russian Symbolism.
The VP-BIF A320 airliner bears the name of Leonid Gaidai, the famed and popular comedy director.
The VP-BII A320 jet is named after Sergei Dovlatov, one of the most popular Russian writers of the late 20th century.
The A320 airplane is configured with 8 seats in business class and 150 seats in economy. Aeroflot operates Airbus A320 family aircraft across its European and domestic routes network. The VP-BKZ A321 aircraft bears the name of Mark Bernes, an immensely popular singer mostly renowned for his songs of the years before, during and immediately after World War II.
The airliner is designed in a new enhanced two class composition with 16 seats in business and 167 in economy. All A321 aircraft family are delivered to Aeroflot directly from the manufacturing plant in Hamburg. Aeroflot operates А321 aircraft across its European and domestic routes network.
