Aero Inspection acquires leading Shannon based design firm ‘Part 21 Design Ireland Ltd’.
Aero Inspection is delighted to announce that it has acquired ‘Part 21 Design Ireland Ltd’. Part 21 Design Ireland is a Shannon based European approved aircraft design organisation.
Part 21 Design Ireland works with leasing companies, and airlines to design, certify, and approve repairs and modifications on all large aircraft. Part 21 Design Ireland is led by Mick Malone. Mick is a
seasoned aviation professional with over 35 years’ experience in the industry.
‘All of us at Part 21 Design Ireland are very excited about becoming part of the Aero Inspection family’ Head of Airworthiness, Mick Malone said this morning. ‘This move will allow us to increase our offering to our customers and will see us performing design work long into the future.’ He added.
Part 21 Design Ireland has a reputation for high quality work, on-time delivery and has a vast customer base of airlines and aircraft lessors.
Established in Shannon in 2004, Aero Inspection has been supporting aircraft lessors, airlines and asset management companies with the transitioning of aircraft and aircraft engines. Aero Inspection has fixed bases in Shannon, Dublin, and Singapore; offering its customers global support. The company is EASA and FAA approved for borescope inspections, boreblend repairs, and has a component overhaul shop in Dublin specialising in NiCad battery maintenance.
Aero Inspection is now in a position to offer a bespoke design and repair service for cabin interiors and paint schemes for all aircraft as well as minor avionic mods.
Both Aero Inspection and Part 21 Design customers will continue to enjoy the same level of service during the transition.
