AerFin and SR Technics have agreed a new long term engine repair agreement. The agreement will add CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B component coverage to the already existing CFM56-5C agreement for repairs at both the SR Technics’ Zurich and Cork facilities. This further enhances the strong relationship between both companies following on from the announcement of the BeyondFleetServices agreement with Philippine Airlines last December to support the phase out of their Airbus A340 fleet.
AerFin currently have ESN 875310 (purchased from Aero Capital Solutions Inc previously in service with Brazilian Operator GOL) in teardown at SRT in Zurich and this Engine will be held there on consignment to support the material demand for SRT’s increasing shop visit activity. This reinforces AerFin’s commitment to supply cost effective solutions to both MRO’s and operators throughout the industry.
James Bennett, Director of Sales and Marketing, AerFin commented ‘We have established a strong partnership with SR Technics, that is continuing to grow as our business evolves towards being a key strategic partner with operators. This particular agreement, will ensure we have a supply of high-quality, cost effective, narrow-bodied engine solutions for our airline customers globally’
