Reigate-based aviation service provider, ACC, held its 12th ACC Airline Conference on Wednesday 8th November 2017.
Coinciding with the company’s 15th anniversary and the final day of World Travel Market, the invitation-only event was attended by members of the aviation industry from across the globe.
Experts in aviation history, foreign exchange, global route development, insurance and litigation gave presentations on subjects ranging from the impact of recent political and economic developments to topical issues affecting the aviation industry, prompting lively debate and discussion amongst delegates.
Additionally, ACC’s Director of Leasing, Dave Williams, gave his update on the global leasing market, during which he announced 2017 as a record year for the company’s wet leasing division, ACMI 24.
The market leaders in their field, ACMI 24 have contracted 40,500 block hours in the year to date, surpassing 2016’s 33,000 with two months of the year still remaining.
“It’s been another fantastic year for ACMI 24, which has seen our team expand and adopt a true, 24-hour operation.
“This, along with successful forays into the Asian and African markets, has been reflected in the successive record growth we have experienced this year and further cemented our reputation as a leader in providing ACMI solutions to the world’s airlines.”
