Shannon based Atlantic Aviation Group have announced that their Technical Service and CAMO division have recently been granted Part M Subpart G and I approval for A318/A319/A320/A321 (CFM-56 and V2500) by the Irish Aviation Authority.

News of the approval comes weeks after Bermudan Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) approval (BDA/CAMO/190) was also obtained. AAG’s Technical Services Director Mike Byrt revealed that the approvals are a part of a planned growth of the service.

“It is an exciting time here at the Atlantic Aviation Group CAMO division as we look to expand our approvals and our team. This important approval allows us extend the range of our services to our current and potential customers at a time while we are hiring new Airworthiness Engineers to join our expanding team.“

Meanwhile, Mr. Byrt also confirmed that he will be delivering a part time Airworthiness & CAMO course at the Atlantic Aviation Institute (AAI) this Autumn.

“The course will take place over 10 Wednesday evenings beginning in September at the AAI in Shannon. We will once again, feature expert guest speakers from the world of aviation which will enhance the learning experience for all of the attendees. Spaces are limited so I would encourage those interested to sign up as soon as possible. Those interested should go to www.atlanticaviationinstitute.ie to find out more.”
