17th June 2024, Copenhagen, Denmark - TP Aerospace signs new MRO Service Agreement with Star Alliance member, Croatia Airlines, to support their Airbus A220 platform.

TP Aerospace will be providing MRO services to support Croatia Airlines’ requirements for the A220 wheels. The service will mainly be provided from TP Aerospace’s new flag-ship facility in Brno, The Czech Republic.

“Croatia Airlines is happy to announce the widening of our cooperation with TP Aerospace. After 5 years of successful A320 wheel & brake maintenance through a CFR agreement, TP Aerospace won a tender for A220 wheel maintenance for Croatia Airlines' fleet”, says Tomislav Imprić, Technical Director at Croatia Airlines.

The MRO Service Agreement on A220 wheels is planned to start in the beginning of July 2024.

Croatia Airlines is looking forward with expectation to get same quality and service standard as we have on the current A320 Agreement”, the Technical Director at Croatia Airlines continues.

“That will help us with a smooth and safe start of operating the A220 as new type of aircraft in Croatia Airlines' fleet. Croatia Airlines plans to perform fleet transition and become single type operator by 2027 with fleet consisting of 15 A220 aircraft”, concludes Tomislav Imprić.

Croatia Airlines is an existing Programs customer of TP Aerospace through an A320 Cycle-Flat-Rate program and this new A220 contract strengthens the relationship further. This additional agreement with Croatia Airlines means that TP Aerospace can expand their global capability with the addition of the A220 platform.

“To have an existing Program customer sign an additional agreement with TP Aerospace is a testament to the service and quality we provide. Additionally, it is a testament to TP Aerospace’s continuous business growth and capabilities by adding additional platforms to our pool of service”, says Global Programs Director, Philip Hansen.

Croatia Airlines is the flag carrier of Croatia and operates primarily domestic and international destinations in Europe. Since 2004, the airline has been a member of the Star Alliance.
