(Luton, UK – 25 October, 2017) - Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL), celebrating 50 years as a leading MRO, has signed a line maintenance agreement with China Airlines.

The flag carrier is a new customer for MAEL who will carry out line maintenance work when China Airlines begin their London Gatwick service in December 2017. With four flights a week in the winter followed by five flights or more next summer, the line maintenance work will be carried out on the airlines Airbus A350 aircraft.

Neil Kirby, Sales Manager at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, said: “China Airlines is our second A350 customer and continues to show our commitment to new technology aircraft. We are delighted to have secured Taiwan’s largest airline as a new customer for our London Gatwick line. We look forward to commencing work at the end of the year.”
