KlasJet, KlasJet, a well-known charter company and a part of the world's largest ACMI providers, the Avia Solutions Group family, has added another Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft to its fleet. This development brings the total number of jets available for ACMI operations to 7.

The newest addition to KlasJet’s fleet bears the registration number LY-SLX and has a configuration of 186 seats. The aircraft will commence operations in the middle of May.

According to the CEO of KlasJet Justinas Bulka, the latest fleet expansion will help the airline better serve its customers during what seems like a very busy summer season.

“ACMI services is a relatively new field to us, as we entered it only in 2023. Nevertheless, over such a short period of time we have managed to secure multiple long-term contracts, while expanding our fleet accordingly. And even though finding suitable aircraft on the market is rather challenging these days, we are aiming for a 50-strong fleet within the next 5 years,” Justinas Bulka said.

The company has two business lines – VIP full charter flights and ACMI services. Currently, KlasJet operates a 14-aircraft fleet offering capacities ranging from 10 to 68 seats for VIP services and 186 or 189 passengers for ACMI leasing. In the following five years, KlasJet plans to expand its fleet to 50 aircraft, with 40 used for ACMI operations.

KlasJet is part of the Avia Solutions Group family, the world’s largest ACMI providers (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance), operating a fleet of 212 aircraft. The group also provides a range of aviation services including, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), pilot and crew training, ground handling, as well as a variety of associated services.
