JP Lease Products & Services Co., Ltd. and JLPS Ireland Limited are delighted to announce the lease, on behalf of its Japanese investors, of a newly converted Airbus A321 P2F aircraft in an operating lease transaction with its valued customer, Latvia-based carrier SmartLynx, part of the Avia Solutions Group. 
 
This is the eighth aircraft operating lease transaction with SmartLynx covering both passenger and freighter aircraft. “We are delighted to complete this transaction and look forward to finding creative ways to expand our long-term relationship with SmartLynx and the Avia Solutions Group” stated Heinrich Loechteken, JLPS Ireland Limited CEO.

Latvian-based SmartLynx Airlines is the largest ACMI service provider in Europe, holding one-third of the market. Today the airline also operates in the USA, North America, Asia, and Africa. The company holds Air Operator Certificates (AOC) in Latvia, Estonia, and Malta.

The current fleet size consists of 55 aircraft and by end of 2023 is set to increase to 65 aircraft, including Airbus A320 (29), A330-300 (6), A321 (8), Airbus A321F (13), and Boeing 737 MAX (9) aircraft.
