Cambodia plans to grant AOCs to two new airlines, MJ Airlines and Domrey Angkor Airlines, according to the CAA, with the licenses issued by late 2018 and early 2019, respectively.

Both companies are backed by investors from Cambodia and China, looking to build on traffic demand between the two countries.

Cambodia has four more potential airlines seeking AOCs, bringing the total to 13 should MJ Airlines and Domrey Angkor Airlines successfully launch operations.
